Coral has been worn here for four hundred years. We are only trying to string it well.
Lui'Deo is a handcrafted jewellery house curating artistically inclined, contemporary pieces — and nowhere does that matter more than at a Nigerian wedding: the Yoruba trad, the igba nkwu, and the Edo, Itsekiri and Urhobo ceremonies where coral is the whole point. Coral branch collars, baroque pearl sets, and the cuffs, rings and earrings that go with them. Every set is made to order against the outfit it will be worn with, because a red that fights the aso-oke is worse than no coral at all.

From your outfit, backwards
Between one and four weeks depending on the set — the lead time is on every product page, and we would rather tell you the true one than the one you want to hear.

You send the outfit
A photo of the aso-oke, the george, the lace, the gele — whatever you have. The coral is matched to it, not the other way round.

We sort the coral
Every branch is graded by hand for colour and size. One set comes from one batch, so the red runs true across all four pieces.
- 03
Strung and cast
Knotted on silk between each section, with the gold caps and pendant cast to order in the same tone as the clasps.
- 04
Fitted, then boxed
Cut to your measurement, checked on the neck if you're in Lagos, and packed in the Lui'Deo box with the ring sized.
